How does an escape game work?
Every escape game is a race against time, where communication and team spirit are essential. Whether you’re a novice or an experienced player, certain questions come up frequently. Here’s everything you need to know before embarking on your adventure, to ensure your experience runs smoothly.
Accessibility for all
At l’Autre Usine, we make sure that everyone can take part in the adventure. Our rooms are accessible to people with reduced mobility. A staff member will be on hand to provide you with adapted clues. However, we recommend the presence of at least one non-hearing-impaired player to facilitate communication.
Organisation and proceedings
The big day has arrived, and you’re off to l’Autre Usine with your family, friends or colleagues. Remember to arrive 30 minutes before your mission starts – don’t miss the briefing!
The session lasts 60 minutes, plus a few minutes where we’ll give you all the instructions you need before the team enters the room.

If I'm claustrophobic, can I still take part?
Don’t panic, your safety is our priority. In case of emergency, an emergency box allows you to exit at any time, without having to solve the final enigma.
Are we being watched during the game?
To guide you throughout your mission, our team members monitor your progress via cameras and microphones. However, no images or sound are recorded, to respect your privacy.
